DriveCrypt Plus Pack version (DCPP 3.0) has been released.

If you are within a valid upgrade period, (you've purchased the software in the last 6 months, or if you have a valid upgrade /customer support service in place, you can now download and upgrade your software by following the instructions below.

Note: Registration method has changed!
With the release of DCPP 2.8 (01.05.2004), the registration process has changed: Rather then a registration key, the software will now require a registration file that is generated from the private area of our homepage.
To make the registration / upgrade process quick and easy, the DriveCrypt software is now able to communicate via the Internet to our server and update your registration key automatically. For those of you who do not have the machine with the installed DrivCrypt connected to the internet, or those who do not want the software to communicate with the internet for other reasons, they can upgrade the software manually by logging in, in the private area of our homepage.

Automatic Upgrade

Step 1

1) Decrypt your boot partition
2) Remove Bootauth and close DCPP
3) Install DCPP 3.0 on top of the old software version
4) Reboot your machine.

NOTE: Active upgrade and customer support is required in order to be able to upgrade.

Once the new software version is installed and started on your machine, the program will notice the presence of your old DCPP 2.8 software license and ask you to upgrade your license.

You will be presented with a license upgrade screen.

Click "YES" for Automatic upgrade

STEP 2:
Automatic upgrade:

If you selected "YES" to automatically upgrade your software license over the internet, you will be presented with the following screen. Here DriveCrypt is asking you to enter your securstar.com private member area, login and password.

You have received these login details by email when you first purchased your software, if you can not find, or forgot your login details, you can get them again by clicking here.

Once you entered your SecurStar private area, login and password, on the above screen, please confirm by pressing the button: "Recover LicenseKey Online"
The software will connect to our online server and upgrade your old license automatically.

Manual Upgrade:

1) Fully uninstall your Software and generate a destruction code for it.
2) Browse to our homepage (www.securstar.com) and login in your private member area using your login and password details.
3) Once logged in, select "Licensekey generator"
4) Find your old generated licensekey that corresponds to the machine, enter the "destruction code" in the appropriate field, and press button "Destroy" to delete the old license and allow generation of the new license.
